The Great Big Green Week Project Loscoe Goes Green! Our children at Loscoe are taking part in a communiy project which will educate us all on being more environmentally friendly and reducing our carbon footprint. Keep checking this page and our facebook page for exciting developments!
EYFS 1 and 2: Looking after our environment
Regular planting over the seasons to help the environment and reduce global warming. Making of bird feeders, bug hotels to encourage wildlife.
God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. Genesis 2:15.
Year 1: Litter picking mission!
Research litter and know it is harmful to the environment. Make a pledge to reduce the amount of litter left in the school grounds.

Year 2: Recycling mission!
Thinking of what we can do in school to recycle more and use less plastic.

Year 3/4: Energy pledge
Educate school on ways in which we can save energy! Measure the use of our energy over the year and use the money saved to fund more forest school projects.

Year 4/5: Reducing our carbon footprint
Researching how this positivity affects people in poorer areas of the world. Learning and sharing information about how climate change is making poverty-stricken areas worse.

Year 5/6: Interactive Action Plan
Bat Class will lead the project and help organise events to educate us all on climate change and work towards our action plan. They will collate photos of all our hard work in action to share on the board and our social media sites.
