Christian Values
Our faith can move mountains ~ Matthew 17:20
Christian Values at Loscoe C of E Primary School and Nursery
At our school all pupils are valued and nurtured as individuals in a place where the Christian values of generosity, compassion, courage, forgiveness, friendship, respect are embedded into every area of school life.
Pupils are taught to apply the Christian principles of ‘love your neighbour as yourself’, and ‘treat others as you would want to be treated yourself’, into their lives both in school and outside in the wider community.
Both staff and pupils have the opportunity to explore their own beliefs set in an environment of openness, acceptance, tolerance and honesty. Our school is a place where all have the opportunity to consider their understanding of the Christian faith, what it means to them and how it impacts on their lives.
Our school motto:-
“We may be small but together we can make a big difference"
gives all an opportunity to not only value their own skills and abilities by working together, but also consider the role of faith and belief in God and how it can play an important part in their lives.
Our school vision:-
'Our faith can move mountains' Matthew 17:20
Everybody at every level in the school carries this vision encouraging self-belief to achieve personal goals, big or small. Our vision underpins who we are as a whole school family.
